Hi, I'm Brittany!

​Brittany Morris is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. With a warm and engaging personality, she excels at creating a safe and welcoming environment for her clients. Known for her sense of humor and genuine empathy, Brittany ensures that everyone she sees feels comfortable exploring their thoughts and emotions, making therapy a positive and transformative experience.

 

Her mission as a therapist is to empower clients to overcome emotional pain and reclaim their lives. Brittany believes that every person has the potential to heal and thrive, and she is deeply committed to breaking the stigma surrounding mental health care. She approaches each client with compassion, helping them navigate their unique challenges while fostering a sense of hope and possibility for the future.

 

Brittany’s therapeutic style is both collaborative and person-centered, integrating insight-oriented approaches that encourage clients to delve into their thoughts and feelings. She specializes in areas such as eating disorders/disordered eating, LGBTQIA+ issues, anxiety, life transitions, and chronic illnesses. Brittany takes pride in tailoring her approach to meet the individual needs of her clients, helping them gain valuable insights, develop effective coping strategies, and reconnect with their true selves white utilizing evidence based practices.

 

Brittany holds a Master’s degree in Social Work and has garnered extensive experience across various settings, including schools, inpatient hospitals, outpatient rehabilitation facilities, and working with active-duty military members and their families. She has worked with many multicultural clients and nontraditional families and couples. This diverse background has provided her with the skills and understanding necessary to support clients from a wide range of cultural and experiential backgrounds, making her well-equipped to address complex issues with sensitivity and expertise.

 

Outside of her professional life, Brittany enjoystaking walks, listening to audiobooks, watching terrible lifetime movies and spending quality time with her family, friends and dogs. She believes that self-care is essential for maintaining balance and perspective, and she often draws on her personal interests and passion to inspire her work. Brittany finds joy in exploring new experiences and is committed to living a fulfilling life, which she shares with her clients as they embark on their journeys of growth and healing
